Wikileaks for the Common Man

“What is a “dirty little (or big) secret” about an industry that you have worked in, that people outside the industry really ought to know?”

With that question, for perhaps the first time in its operating history, Reddit produced something halfway useful…

Take a moment to sift through a few of the comments. (There are more than 34,000!) Everything from “learn to do your own taxes” to why you should never eat veal to insider exposes from the petroleum industry… that is, both the consumer (lube shop) and industrial sides!

Look, if you’re starting to feel annoyed by my incessant “trust/understanding” refrain — think about it this way.

I’ve been reading these kinds of stories in various forms for upwards pf a decade. And it’s the ONE thing that characterizes every security problem ever.
