Psychology continued

Almost forgot the practical application of the “pleasure principle” interpretation. Espionage!

One of the most productive innovations of the Cold War was the use of “Romeo spies” by the KGB and Stasi, trained to extract information from women (generally secretaries) in a position to know — after making their toes curl. “Honey traps” are even older.

Given Snowden’s stuff-of-Internet-legend libido, now that his female companionship has decamped for Berlin… I wonder what his myriad adversaries are gonna try?

Probably an excellent time for him to start experimenting with deliberate celibacy.

(It DOES do wonders for your energy level.)
